Azadeh Gholizadeh's Award-Winning Design Marries Function and Aesthetics

The inspiration for 'Pure' came from the very essence of the product it houses – fruit. Gholizadeh aimed to create a unique design that clearly communicated the product's natural, clean, and healthy features. The result is a limited edition fruity drink design that draws directly from the shapes and colors of fruits.

What sets 'Pure' apart is its ability to visually emphasize the image of natural products. The packaging features colorful patterns directly printed on a glass bottle that mirrors the shape of fruits. This not only makes the product stand out on the store shelves but also turns it into a piece of art that can be used to decorate a room after consumption.

The technical specifications of the design are 55 mm x 55mm x 200 mm. The design process, which took place in Iran, started in June 2018 and was completed in August 2018. The project involved extensive research, including investigating similar products, testing product mock-ups in various environments, and finding ways to distinguish the product from its competitors.

One of the challenges Gholizadeh faced during the design process was printing on the curved bottle, which required a high level of technical expertise. However, the end result was worth the effort. The design not only stays intact even after washing, allowing for the bottle to be reused, but it also serves to enhance the customer's emotional connection with the product.
